Harrison Paice
Head Chef, Harrison Paice, joined The Mount Vineyard in 2020 as Sous Chef following a move from Sussex, where he began his career studying hospitality and catering. After completing his Professional Cookery qualifications his talent was quickly recognised within his role as Chef de Parti at gastro pub group Hall & Woodhouse. He continued to grow his repertoire at The Millennium Hotel group where he was immersed in the fine dining, banqueting and A La Carte menu creation and service.
Harrison was promoted to Head Chef here at The Mount Vineyard in the Autumn of 2023 having taken the kitchen on a journey from a well known and loved “pizza establishment”, to offering a wider and more sophisticated palate with a strong emphasis on fresh, quality, local food for all tastes and dietary requirements.
Harrison has a real love for Caribbean food and you’ll find a wealth of flavours across our menu inspired by his passion for international cuisine. The fast paced nature of the role never prevents him from ensuring all dishes are crafted with love; including the curing of salmon or 36 hour braising of pork belly!
