“A Year in the Vineyard” Viticulture Course
Keen to learn more about viticulture?
Our Viticulture course is underway for another year! Each workshop provides both theoretical and practical tuition. Our first session in February gave an introduction into Viticulture/grapevine physiology, pruning and tying down.
Each participant was greeted with coffee and croissants before being expertly guided through the theory of each process. They then headed out into the estate for a practical session before rounding up the day with refreshment in the restaurant with a pizza and a glass of wine.

Workshop Three (2nd July): Wire Lifting/Tucking In, Planting & Weed Control/Alleyway Management
Workshop Four (30th July): Leaf Stripping, Green Harvesting, Vine Nutrition & Disease Control
Workshop Five (7th October): Netting/Bird Protection & Harvesting
