Join us amongst the vines on Wednesday 3rd June for an open-air theatre spectacular!
From the touring theatre group This Is My Theatre, we present A Midsummer Night’s Dream by the Flint Bar & Tipi
Written by William Shakespeare, adapted and directed by Sarah Slator, music by Simon Stallard
You’ll be greeted with your choice of a glass of MV sparkling wine or bottled beer and an individual picnic box to enjoy before or during the performance. You are welcome to also pre-order interval drinks or purchase these at The Flint Bar on the evening.
Doors opens at 5.30pm. Last admittance at 6.45pm. The event finishes by 9pm.

*Picnic Box (Please do email us with any dietary requirements by Wednesday 27th May, we regret we will only be able to serve you the standard picnic box on the night should you not have made us aware of any requirements by this date.) Double picnics available with two ticket option. Please order individual tickets if one guest has a dietary requirement.

Please note that only The Mount Vineyard picnics can be consumed at this event.Β No other food or drink (including Mount Vineyard pizzas) to be brought into the area.
A full bar will operate for the duration of the evening.
Please bring your own picnic blankets or camping chairs for this free-seating outside performance. Spaces are allocated on a first come first served basis.
We recommend arriving by train or by foot.Β We are a 10 minute walk from Shoreham (Kent) train station through a lovely field of wheat which runs alongside Station Road. If arriving by car, please park in the signposted field car park and walk through the gate to the Flint Bar & Tipi.
Please note this event is for 18+ only and we regret that on this occasion dogs are not allowed. T&Cs apply.
This is an open-air performance which will go ahead in all but extreme weather (as confirmed by This is My Theatre) so please do come dressed for the conditions; whether with sun cream, waterproofs and/or a brolly! Please see below from This is My Theatre with regards to ticket refunds; please note you would still be welcome to collect your picnic box & welcome drink from the vineyard and no refunds can be made for this element of the ticket.
A note from This is My Theatre:
If we didn’t perform in bad weather then we wouldn’t perform outdoors in the UK!
We won’t stop or cancel a show due to weather unless absolutely necessary (i.e. conditions become unsafe for audience and company) so bring an umbrella, wrap up warmly and enjoy the show in spite of it! If the show goes ahead we won’t refund tickets.
If a show needs to stop due to bad weather then The Mount Vineyard will only offer refunds for the show element of the ticket if less than half of the production has been performed.
Image below shows an example of a picnic for two which includes a sausage roll, fresh bread & butter, crackers, cheese, charcuterie, olives, sundried tomatoes, chutney, nuts, mini meringue, strawberries & blueberries & a chocolate brownie (contents subject to change).
