What time do you open?

Our current opening hours are the following for the Bar and Courtyard Restaurant – usually the hours are extended on a sunny evening. Please note that our Flint Bar operates a good weather policy, Friday-Sunday only.

Bar and Restaurant Opening Hours:

Wednesday – Saturday: 12pm – 11pm (Kitchen: 12pm – 9.30pm)

Sunday: 12pm – 6pm (Kitchen: 12pm – 5pm)

Ten Acres Shop Opening Hours:

Wednesday – Sunday: 10am – 6pm

Are you ever open in the evenings?

Yes, our restaurant is open in the evenings as above.

How do I get to you on public transport?

Please arrive at Shoreham (Kent) station – which is direct from Sevenoaks, Bromley, City Thameslink, Blackfriars. After disembarking, take the steps out of the station down onto Station Road. Pick up the path that runs down the edge of the field and walk through the churchyard. You will now be on Church Street, with the beautifully renovated Samuel Palmer pub opposite. 100 yards further on down Church Street, you will find the entrance to our driveway on the right between a bungalow and big white house. We are just a short walk from the station.

Do you have other beverages available in addition to wine?

Absolutely! We have a fully stocked bar with local beers, soft drinks, cocktails and spirits, teas and coffees. Please do see our menu for further details.

Are your products suitable for vegetarians and vegans?

All of our wine range is suitable for both vegetarians and vegans. We also offer a vegan sharing board on our menu.

Are children allowed in the vineyard?

Whilst we do not specifically cater for children (we have no children’s menu), they are of course very welcome if you are joining us for food and drink. Tastings, however, are strictly adult only experiences.

Please do note that there is a large pond on site and children must remain seated with their family and be supervised at all times.

Do you have to book to join a tasting?

We would highly recommend pre-booking a tasting experience as they are often fully subscribed. However, should we have spaces on a session, you would be very welcome to join on the day. Please do ensure that you arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the experience to enquire.

Do you have parking on site?

Absolutely, please do drive up into the estate and you will find our car park on your right-hand side next to The Ten Acres shop.

Are dogs allowed in the vineyard and courtyard?

We are very happy to welcome well-behaved dogs on leads to all guest areas of the vineyard.

Can I book a table?

Absolutely! You can book via our Restaurant page or give us a call on 01959 524008, option 1.

Can I bring my own food and drink to enjoy on the estate?

Only food and drink purchased at The Mount Vineyard can be consumed on the premises.

We’re coming for a special celebration, are we allowed to bring balloons?

We regret that we are unable to permit balloons when open for general admission.

We’re celebrating a birthday, can we bring a cake?

You are most welcome to bring a cake along with you on the day. Please let Reception know on arrival. A £5/per person ‘cakeage’ will be applied to your bill.

Is the vineyard a place to only visit in the summer?

Not at all! We are open all year round and have beautiful spaces for you to enjoy whatever the weather. The courtyard restaurant’s underfloor heating keeps you toasty in the winter months, whilst the retractable roof is open in the summer to allow you to enjoy the sunshine!

Are tastings available all year?

Of course, a wine tasting is a superb experience any month of the year! Our tours, however, are available from the end of May through to the end of September only.

When is harvest? And can I join in?

Harvest is usually around the end of September and start of October. We will announce on social media when we are looking for volunteers to join us for a day of picking and, of course, the all-important post-pick celebrations!

Do you host weddings?

We have recently launched our new tipi, festival-style, wedding concept! We have acquired a plot of land just behind the vineyard with stunning views over the Darent Valley – the perfect backdrop to your bespoke wedding! Please do take a look at the Wedding page on our website or drop us a line at events@themountvineyard.co.uk if you would like more information.
